Reliable hiking buddies are not only hard to find, but they are critically important. I can attest to the importance of having a backup person. Regardless of how well prepared you are, unexpected hazards can render all of your preparation mute.
I fancy myself a photographer and I almost always carry too much gear. Fred doesn’t go anywhere without his fancy iPhone, and he also carries too much gear. So, if you see us in the woods, we’ll be the ones wearing overstuffed, tactical backpacks for a 3 hour hike.
We’re just a couple of blokes who enjoy the outdoors. If you want to join us for an outing, or if you need some guidance, don’t be shy.
