I took a night hike with Fred on November 15 and spent the night on the trail in my ENO SkyLite hammock. I was expecting it to get colder than it did. It was still around 60 degrees (15C) when I woke up at 05:45. I didn’t actually get up until 07:30 because it was still dark at 05:45 and it was an absolutely lovely morning. I was actually a little too warm in my sleeping bag, but it felt good and there is nothing like slumbering in the morning, under the forest canopy. The sounds and the smells are invigorating. Outdoor adventures are my mental health therapy.
